Sea Pines Bike Rules and Regulations

• Roadway use by bikes, roller blades and walkers is illegal where bike trails are available.
• Use of bike trails in Sea Pines is limited to property owners and invited guests.
• Bikers, bladers, joggers and walkers who leave the plantation should note the electronic code at the electronic gate to re-enter.
• Unauthorized bikers will be denied admittance or if already in the Plantation will be required to leave.
• Use bike trails, where available, single file. Please use the right side of the trail.
• If it is necessary to bike or blade on roads, please stay on the rigt edge of the pavement, also in single file.
• Bikers should be considerate of pedestrians by warning them of your approach at least 50 feet away.
• No bike riding is permitted on golf cart paths. Golf paths are for the exclusive use of golf carts.
• Safety equipment such as helmets, kneepads and horns/bells is recommended.
• Night biking is dangerous and is prohibited in the Plantation.
• State and local traffic rules must be obeyed - especially the giving of hand signals and the observance of traffic signs.
• Racing or high speed operation of bikes or roller blades is prohibited
